The Bob’s Watches Collectors Dinner

The Bob’s Watches Collectors Dinner

Last week we facilitated a unique supper at our Newport Beach base camp for a couple of dear companions and notable watch authorities. There was no visitor speaker, nor were there any looks available to be purchased. All things being equal, this Collectors Dinner was only a night for certain companions and individual devotees to get together, eat some extraordinary food, see some astounding watches, and appreciate the best company we could have imagined.

The Bob’s Watches Collectors Dinner

With a private gourmet specialist concocting a full supper and sufficient beverages to go around, the close gathering of visitors went through the night chuckling, trading watch gathering stories, and thinking back about occasions when you could get a vintage Rolex Daytona for a couple thousand dollars.

While the list of attendees was little, participants included everybody from Eric Wind of Wind Vintage to Michael Morgan of Iconic Watch Company and notable Southern California authority, Morgan King. Indeed, even Enzo, the amicable ‘Goldendoodle’ that has a place with Bob’s Watches CEO, Paul Altieri showed up to get any wanderer pieces of food that may have been missed during supper.

Following the supper, Morgan King shocked everybody by whipping a few decks of cards and doing some amazingly great sorcery stunts with them (incidentally, he is an individual from the Magic Castle in Hollywood). We as a whole know Morgan for his affection for watches, however his advantage in enchantment alongside the amusing presentation that he puts on while he claims to stagger through stunning sleights of hand was another thing to all of us.

Although the Bob’s Watches Collectors Dinner was tied in with appreciating each other’s conversation, the watches that could be recognized that night are positively worth a subsequent look. From a Rolex Paul Newman Daytona, to a ref. 5517 MilSub and a 2915-1 Speedmaster with a ridiculously tropical dial, each and every watch at the Collectors Dinner was one worth mentioning.

They say that words generally can’t do a picture justice , so here is the authority photograph recap of the primary at any point Bob’s Watches Collectors Dinner.
